  • 2 Quick-dry pants

  • 4 Cotton boxers (boxers are more comfortable while riding)
  • Pair of light pants /Half pants and one nice shirt/ t-shirt for your evening stroll
  • Pair of Loafers (shoes)
  • 2 Small Detergent powder sachet
  • Pen and a small A5 note
  • A dedicated phone for navigation and another for calls and photos
  • Headphones/ AirPods
  • Powerbank
  • Charging cables
  • Personal medicines
  • Postpaid cellphone connection (Prepaid won't work in places like J&K)
  • Additional plastic bags for laundry/ wet flipflops etc
  • a light towel
  • Extension board with spike

  • Papers for the vehicle — RC, Insurance, Pollution certificate
  • Driving license
  • Mobile holder for the bike
  • Fullface helmet
  • Riding Jacket — Something that fits well to your body
  • Gloves
  • Riding pants
  • Tools for quick fixes
  • Spare clutch cable — Visit a workshop and learn to change the cable yourself. If you are not sure, take a video and keep in your phone
  • Raincoat — Preferably one size bigger than your riding jacket
  • Transparent goggles — Will be useful when you ride late in the evening.
  • Rain cover for the bag

What not to carry

  • SLR Camera (unless its a photography theme tour)
  • Liquor bottles / Any kind of drugs
  • Heavy Jeans
  • Gumboots — Needed for riding in rain and snow. (It’s better to buy it when you actually need it. It's cheap and widely available. No need to carry)
